As Chae explains her educational process, “I am a financial advisor but I specialize in retirement planning, which includes minimizing taxes, protecting your assets and making sure you maximize your Social Security. My approach is getting to know how you feel about your money and what your goals are. I enjoy using education to help you understand what is out there in the financial world to help you achieve your objectives.”

In addition to retirement planning, Chae also offers supplemental benefits both to individuals directly as well as through employers, with products ranging from alternative health coverage, Aflac policies, LegalShield policies and Medicare supplements. This expanded offering of products and solutions has helped our clients, allowing them more options and the ability to make informed decisions throughout their working and retired lifetimes.

A strong work ethic and devotion to top-notch client service has always been part of her character. Chae joined Iron Plan Solutions after spending more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. She realized right away that Iron Plan Solutions was a very different firm. Client service is the top priority at IPS, which dovetails perfectly with her approach. “I started my career in the restaurant industry as a hostess, working my way up to become a server and ultimately, manager. I loved working with customers and building long-term relationships. In 2006 I left and opened my own catering company but had to close my business in 2009 due to the global recession of 2008. I returned to restaurant management for several years before joining IPS in 2013,” she says.

Chae has never forgotten the lessons of the global recession of 2008, when so many lost their livelihoods and retirees lost their nest eggs and had to go back to work. As she puts it, “Giving my clients peace of mind about their retirement is the most satisfying part of my career now. I want to help as many people understand and navigate the financial industry as possible, and teach them how they can achieve their goals through proper planning.”

A native of Pensacola since her family moved to Florida in 1985, Chae’s father was in the military, so she has spent a lot of time traveling and living in various parts of the world. “I’ve been many places and my family lived in Seoul, Korea and in Germany before finally settling down in Pensacola, Florida 38 years ago. I’m happy to be here in Florida.”

Chae received her associate’s degree from the University of West Florida. She has been married to Sean Kyle for over 25 years, and the couple has two wonderful grown children, Victoria and Tanis. They live in Milton, Florida, and Chae is very involved in her community helping foster children. “I am a GAL volunteer; I am for the children. I am an advocate for the child during the fostering stage.” (GAL is short for the Guardian Ad Litem Office of Florida.)

In her free time, Chae loves to read. Her literary interests include sci-fi, fantasy, fiction and historical books. Her parents and sisters live close by and they all love visiting and spending time together. Chae says, “Family is a big part of why I do what I do. I am proud of the career that I am developing because I love helping families. When we say we treat our clients like family at Iron Plan Solutions, we mean it.”
