Nick Williamson was born in Pensacola, FL, and grew up playing soccer and baseball at Myrtle Grove, Roger Scott, and PFC. By high school, he was fully committed to soccer year-round and went on to play for Oglethorpe University, where he helped lead the team to two conference championships and was named Conference Offensive Player of the Year during his senior season.
While he excelled on the field, Nick was also passionate about accounting from an early age. He was one of the few students to declare an accounting major on the first day of his freshman year, and after graduating four years later, he passed the necessary exams and began his career in public accounting in December of 2014.
Over the years, Nick discovered that small businesses often face a significant gap in quality accounting and tax advisory services. With the tax code becoming more complex and the number of new CPAs shrinking, many small businesses struggle to find qualified professionals who can help them navigate the system. To address this need, he founded Williamson CPA, offering expert, personalized service to help small businesses thrive.
In May 2021, Nick married his wonderful wife, Madisan, and the following year, they welcomed their first son into the world. With their second son on the way and his tenth tax season behind him, Nick decided it was time to take the leap and open his own firm. Becoming a business owner has always been a dream of his, and in 2024, he made that dream a reality. He credits his success to the unwavering love and support of his family.
